About Keebye
Keebye is push-to-talk voice dictation for macOS, built for developers running several AI coding agents at once. Hold Right ⌘, say the thing, release — the text lands in whichever app has focus: Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, Slack, or a terminal over SSH inside tmux.
Speech-to-text runs entirely on-device. Audio never leaves your Mac, there's no telemetry, and dictation keeps working with the Wi-Fi off. Terminal-aware chunking and an optional synthetic typing mode handle tmux and non-QWERTY layouts.
Fillers, false starts and doubled words are stripped by deterministic rules, with an optional local-LLM polish pass. A custom dictionary teaches Keebye your jargon once. 25 languages on-device. It refuses to type into password fields.
